The last time that the Cullen family saw Forks, Washington was the year 2006, the year that Renesmee Cullen was born and the year that the Volturi hoped to wipe the vegetarian vampire family out. It wasn’t long after that incident that the family packed up and moved on. This time things were different, Bella joined them as a vampire along with Jacob who imprinted on the young Renesmee. Charlie Swan was also told that he would be contacted as soon as they touched down in their next home, and it was promised he would be documented of his granddaughter’s life as she grew. The Cullen family continued to move on whenever they felt it was necessary, visiting places like Alaska, Scotland, Ireland and England to name a few, sticking to towns that would allow them access to the human world on a regular basis.

After the Volturi retreated back to Volterra, their egos bruised from their basic defeat; Aro, Marcus, and Caius began to devise a plan to destroy the Cullen vampire and their alliance with the shapeshifters once and for all. Caius was more for this then the other members and came up with the final plan nearly singled handed. The Volturi spent ninety years searching for the eight perfect humans that would be perfect for their plan. The ages were similar to that of those in the Cullens though there were trials and errors until the perfect vampires were chosen. The Volturi created an eight vampire army that would move in on the Cullen family. Each member of this coven has a specific target in the Cullen family, that target they matched nearly perfectly in personality.

Its been ninety one years since the Cullen family has stepped foot in Forks but now they’re back. Things have changed, everyone they knew are dead leaving behind their grandchildren but not all changes were for the good. The La Push wolves, now the second generation, didn’t have to worry about holding up the alliance with the Cullen family while they weren’t in Forks. But now that their back, and Jacob is stepping in with his pack once again, trouble starts brewing. With Renesmee and Jacob married, it was assumed that there wouldn’t be a problem with the treaty and the Cullens could pass between towns as they pleased but that wasn’t the case. The new pack, having taken over for Sam shares much of his dislike for vampires even that of the Cullens. This proves to put quite the strain on Jacob, who has managed to make a good relationship with Edward and the rest of the family.

The school year of 2103 has started and once again and those of the supernatural world that can pass enter the high school system once again. But things just keep getting worse for the vampire family, Alice has informed them of their next problem with the Volturi, only its indirect this time around. A town between Forks and La Push, Sequim, is now the home to a similar group of vampires, only they prey on humans for their meals. The wolves are blaming the sudden appearance of vampires in the region on the Cullen family, of course with good reason, these new vampires are here to do whatever it takes to destroy the Cullens or the Volturi will destroy their creations.
